The enquiry began on Thursday, 20 August 2026. No confirmed size. No dieline. No print-ready artwork. Four design directions and an urgent next-day deadline. This is how Blue Oasis Gifts turned a rough Back-to-School reference into a real custom gable box, approved the physical sample, completed production and delivered the finished order in Dubai.
They knew the look they wanted. They did not have a production file.
Thursday, 20 August 2026: the enquiry started with Back-to-School visuals. The customer could show the style, colours and general idea, but there was no confirmed finished size, no technical gable-box dieline and no artwork that could go straight to print.
We rebuilt the idea on a real gable-box layout.
Once the direction was clear, our design team created multiple dieline-based options. The artwork was not simply placed on a rectangle — it had to work across the front, back, side panels, handle section, folds and joining areas after the flat sheet became a three-dimensional box.
We made a real box sample — not just a digital mockup.
For a customer who was unsure about size, a physical proof was the safest way to remove doubt. We printed, cut, folded and assembled a sample, then shared photos and video so the customer could approve the actual proportions and finished feel.
The layout needed 33 × 70 cm digital production, then custom die cutting.
The order was a relatively short run with multiple design directions and a tight next-day deadline. A common 33 × 48 cm digital sheet was not large enough for the approved box layout, so the larger 33 × 70 cm format was used before the printed board moved into die cutting and finishing. The job was handled as an express order on Friday, 21 August 2026. Why 33 × 70 cm?
Approved Friday morning. Finished despite the noon break. Received Friday night.
On Friday, 21 August 2026, the final sample dimensions were confirmed at approximately 11:36 AM and the job was released for full production at 11:37 AM. Friday included a long noon break of approximately 11:30 AM–4:00 PM, which reduced the available production time. The express job was kept on priority after the break and continued through the evening. Normal duty time ended at 10:00 PM, but the team stayed beyond duty hours until the order was ready for delivery.
A reduced Friday working window — but the order still reached the customer that night.

Can you make a custom gable box if I only have a reference image?
Yes. A reference image is enough to start the discussion. It still needs to be translated into a real finished size, structure, dieline and production-ready artwork before printing.

Can you print low quantities of custom gable boxes?
For suitable specifications, yes. Digital production can be useful for shorter runs, multiple artwork versions and urgent custom packaging.
Why was 33 × 70 cm digital printing used for this project?
The approved gable-box layout was larger than a common 33 × 48 cm digital sheet. The 33 × 70 cm format allowed the larger packaging layout to be produced digitally for this urgent short run.
What does die cutting do?
A custom die creates the outside shape, handle openings, folds, flaps and locking areas needed to turn the printed board into a gable box.
Can you create the packaging artwork for us?
Yes. If you only have references or a rough concept, the artwork can be developed around the actual box dieline and revised with you before production.
