The right warranty starts with the right specification.
There is no single warranty period for every printed item, branded gift, sticker, sign or promotional product. Expected life depends on the material, printing method, finishing, installation, intended use, handling and UAE climate.
Important: confirm the expected life before you order
Please ask our sales team what warranty or expected service life applies to your exact product before approving production. Some products are made for short events or temporary campaigns. Others may be suitable for months or longer. A six-month or one-year life may be achievable for certain specifications, but it must never be assumed for every material or printing method.
What affects durability and warranty?
Different materials age differently
Paper, vinyl, PVC, acrylic, metal, glass, fabric, coated products and promotional gifts respond differently to heat, moisture, chemicals, bending and repeated handling.
Print method matters
Screen printing, UV printing, digital printing, sublimation, transfer, engraving, embroidery and other methods have different strengths. The correct choice depends on how the item will actually be used.
Protection changes performance
Normal lamination, UV-resistant lamination, coatings and protective finishes can improve durability, but no finish makes every product suitable for every environment.
UAE climate is a major factor
High heat, direct sunlight, UV exposure, humidity, dust and outdoor installation can reduce the life of inks, adhesives, laminates and substrates.
A print can only be specified correctly when we know its real environment.
Before confirming your order, tell our salesperson if the printed area may come into contact with alcohol, sanitizer, cleaning chemicals, solvents, water, condensation, refrigeration, freezing temperatures, high heat, direct sunlight, repeated washing or heavy handling. These conditions can affect adhesion, colour, coating and print durability.
Example: screen printing or UV printing on a glass or promotional item may perform well in normal use, but repeated contact with alcohol-based cleaners or placing the item in a freezer/chiller can create conditions the selected ink or coating was not intended for. If this use was not disclosed before production, Blue Oasis cannot guarantee performance under that undisclosed condition.
Outdoor stickers: normal vs UV protection
For outdoor stickers and graphics, we may recommend UV printing, UV-resistant lamination or a more durable material because UAE sunlight and heat can quickly affect lower-grade options. Normal lamination may be suitable for some indoor or short-term jobs but may fade, shrink, crack, burn or deteriorate faster outside.
When a lower-cost option is selected
We may recommend a higher-grade material, print method or protective finish because it is better suited to the requested application. If the customer chooses a cheaper or lower-durability option after receiving that recommendation, the finished product will be assessed according to the specification actually ordered—not according to the performance of the higher-grade option that was declined.
Warranty conditions
Any warranty applies only to the product, material, print process, quantity, finishing and usage conditions confirmed for that particular order.
The customer is responsible for explaining unusual or demanding conditions before production, including outdoor use, chemical contact, food-service environments, refrigeration/freezing, washing, moisture, heat or continuous handling.
Fading, weathering, adhesive failure, cracking, colour change or surface deterioration caused by exposure beyond the agreed specification may be normal wear rather than a manufacturing defect.
Where multiple quality levels are offered, warranty and expected life follow the option the customer actually approves and pays for.
If a minimum service life is essential to the project, request written confirmation from our sales team before approving the job.
What should you tell our sales team?
A few details help us recommend the correct and most economical solution:
- Indoor, outdoor or mixed use
- Expected service period
- Direct sunlight or high-heat exposure
- Water, humidity, condensation or freezer/chiller use
- Alcohol, sanitizer, detergent, solvent or chemical contact
- How often the item will be touched, washed or cleaned
- Whether the job is temporary, event-based, promotional or long-term
- Your budget and the level of durability you expect
If something goes wrong
Contact Blue Oasis with your invoice/job reference, photographs of the issue, the date the product was supplied or installed, and a clear explanation of how and where it was used. We will review the supplied specification, production method and usage conditions before determining whether the issue falls within the agreed warranty.
For general company policies, please also review our Terms & Conditions, FAQ, All Products and How to Pay pages.
Unsure which specification you need?
Tell us where the product will be used, what it may come into contact with and how long you expect it to last. We can then recommend a suitable material, print process and finishing level before production.
